This charming little 16th century, restored, holiday house is situated in the heart of the Albaizyn in Granada, just 5 minutes walk to all the city centre sites and 200 meters from the Plaza San Nicolas with its stunning views of the Alhambra Palace.
It is an ideal base for exploring all that Granada has to offer, whilst at the same time living within a piece of its history. The cottage originally housed the caretakers of the 16th century, nearby, moorish house El Corralon and has been lovingly restored by its owners, a Granadine family.

Description:
This 2 storey house with a garden is situated in the best area of the
historical neighborhood known as "the Albaizyn", just 200 metres from the Plaza San Nicolas view point, 5 minutes walk from the city center and 25 metres from the bus stop to the city center and the Alhambra. There are restaurants,
supermarkets etc near the house. The house itself comprises:
GROUND FLOOR:
Very sunny garden with wrought iron table and chairs, wooden bench, portable swimming-pool ( June - September). Living-dining room: Three-piece suite, satellite TV, 18th century Alpujarran tapestry and pictures, 18th century walnut tables. Kitchen: refrigerator-freezen, electric oven, cooker, food mixer, sandwich maker. Toilet: WC, wash basin.
UPPER FLOOR: 2 bedrooms:
Each one with: two single beds with latex mattresses, fitted wardrobe,
Alpujarran tapestry, bed-linen and pillows, with views overlooking the garden. Bathroom: Shower-bath, wash basin, bidet, WC, hair dryer.
In addition there is air conditioning (hot-cold) on both floors.
Hot water ( electric water heater). Washing machine. Towels and
sheets for each person.
The Albaizyn is situated on a hill in front of the Alhambra. It is a big
laberynth of narrow streets and white houses, called Carmenes. Thisis a buzzing, vibrant, traditional neighbourhoood. There is a street market in nearby Plaza Larga every saturday, where you will find vegetables, flowers, clothes... it is a very authentic ambient. Withoin this small geographic space there are important Churches, monumental
houses, superb gardens, shops, schools etc.
