The house, in the village of Pitres, is in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Andalucia in southern Spain. Authentic restoration and some alteration have made this a very unique, spacious and beautiful house. Built on two levels, the upper floor of 250m sq. is the living accomodation and the lower floor houses the old bodega (wine cellar), where up to 5 years ago the villagers were still bringing their grapes to be pressed. Of course the jewel in the crown of this beautiful house is its open internal patio with arabic style arches and an arabic hammam style swimming pool.
